So things seem to be getting a little interesting as of lately.
To start things off my SO booked his flight to come and visit for Christmas! So after this visit I will know when I'll get to see him again and for how long, which is WONDERFUL! (here's where it gets a little interesting) I mentioned this fact to my father over dinner tonight and he asked if he could pick him up from the airport, because he wanted to talk with him, since he doesn't get a lot of opportunities to do so while he's with me. (this sort of caught my attention) Then my mother said chimed in with "yes, well I've had a few conversations with him about you before in private" and my father then came in with "yes we've had a few talks as well, but I do want to get some time to talk with him when he gets here."
My jaw just hit the floor. Soooo my SO has been talking with my parents in secret about me? haha this gets me thinking... what are they talking about? And seriously, my dad wants to pick him up from the airport, that's an hour ride together!(that's a lot of time to talk lol) Part of me seriously wants to know what they are talking about, but another part of me just wants to daydream about it and wish I knew what they were talking about (aka he wants to propose haha).
So now I can't stop thinking about this. I'm really glad that he's been talking with my family a lot, but geez, now I can't help but think about that shiny little something he's been hinting about for over a year now.
Am I jumping to conclusions, or is this something that a normal person would think of as well? haha

Oh, if it was me, I would totally think it was about The Big Question! Maybe they WANT you to think it'll happen during the holidays when he really plans on doing it later on?! Just to keep you guessing, maybe!
God, that would totally eat me up inside. I'd want to know what they were going to talk about!

oh wow! yeah I can't think of anything else your parents would want to secretly talk about.... and from the sound of things they seem cool with the idea. I would be really curious too!
