Did you go to a different town, to avoid the chance of 'being seen'?well actually not becasue i didnt wanna be seen, but because the town i live, dont have a "naughty" store
Were you alone, or with a friend? both
Did you pay in cash or with credit card? cash
Was the salesperson from the same or opposite gender as you?female
Did you look at her/him in the eye, or sort of looked to the side? nope~she likes to show you everything and explain everything in detail!

I have been to sex shops several times, to buy a vibrator by myself. I also went to shop for my sister's bachelorette party with my other sister. In each case I was in a mid-size town, looked the saleslady in the eye. I am perfectly comfortable with that.
I was buying astroglide at Wal-Mart once and was embarrassed for a minute when an older, conservative, male co-worker walked by and said "HI _____" and glanced at the bottle in my hand. Oh well. =) It was only embarrassing for a minute.

I bought a vibe among other things in person. Some of them I bought with my hubby, I bought my vibe alone and some I have bought with a friend.
I would rather do it in person because if you check it out on line sometimes you don't really know what it looks like or what it does. I'd rather touch it and look before buying.
I'm not embarressed to go in there. Thats what it's there for.

| I never have (I voted no) but my wife has. She travels all over our home state and stopped at a naughty store this summer in another town to purchase some lovemaking oil, flavored condoms, and crotchless panties for our anniversary. She was waited on by a guy, paid via credit card (we're married- no problem) and my guess is she never made eye contact. I love her to death for it. She was very embarrassed and self-concious but went through with it to make me happy. She made me VERY happy!!

Yep, I got one a nice average sized leopard print vibrator a couple of months for my daughter after her boyfriend left for the US Marines boot camp.
She just looked to stressed. She apprecieted the fact that I went around looking for a match for her purse (she has a thing for leopard patterns )

Nope, we went to a local place. It was in the evening and we waited in the car til we felt it was sorta empty.
Were you alone, or with a friend?
I was with my friends wife
Did you pay in cash or with credit card?
We paid cash for what we purchased
Was the salesperson from the same or opposite gender as you?
They were the same sex as myself (male)
Did you look at her/him in the eye, or sort of looked to the side?
Looked them in the eye when making the exchange of cash.
(optional) What did you buy?
We purchased a vibrator and a magazine.
When we completed the purchase we found a secluded spot among some factories. We parked the car and looked through the pages of the magazine at the various positions and she showed me how she used the vibrator. It was so incredible....I have no shame...lol
