I Love this movie! Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous, I LOVE John Cusack, and I love the whole plot of the movie (even though it is predictable speaking critically). It's very...serendipity!  Honestly though, I own this movie. I watch it all the time. It's a modern-day fairy tale in my eyes.
I want this fate...I want John Cusack! Lol!

I went to see it at the theatre with my husband - mainly because of the characters: she's British & he's American.
Didn't really like it though & neither did my husband. They didn't really know each other very well - yet they were running around after each other, despite both being involved / engaged to someone else. We thought they needed to either end or work on their current relationships first. That's all I really remember.
Plus I wanted to know how she ended up in the USA - did she have a work visa or was she a permanent resident? (Though I doubt anyone else really cares about those details. )

Yeah, who cares. It's a movie about fate and destiny. Not practicality. Besides, I kinda don't blame them for running around trying to find each other before walking down the aisle. They needed re-assurance for their cold feet. Also, they needed to make sure they were over the whole connection between them before taking that plunge called marriage.
JMO...
