Ok as you all know i love horror films.
I saw this one when it came out last Friday, one of the best horror films i have seen for a long time.
What do other people think?
Also i brought a dvd box set of 1-5 nightmare on elm street. Which I have never seen before so i couldn't resist to buy it.

I am a huge Freddy Krueger/Jason Vorhees fan, but I couldn't fathom seeing this movie brought to light. It just seemed too ridiculous to me (even though I do like corny movies at times) and I had no intentions of wanting to see it ... But after seeing Robert Englund do an interview, whereby he explained the premise of the movie, I decided, corny or not, I will have to make plans to see this movie 
BTW - I actually discussed this last night, with a fellow Horror flick fan, and laughed myself senseless, as We pondered what it would have been like if Michael Myers, Pinhead, Rawhead Rex, or the like, were to have been resurrected, alongside Freddy & Jason, for the ultimate slash fest ... The scenarios/premises We arrived at were bordering the hilarious ... LoL

A good one is a final destination2, if you like a bit of blood and guts.
I have seen a few clips of a house of a 1000 corpses but it seems to be no story line to it. I haven't seen feardot.com. Is that any good Kel?
I am also looking forward to Jeepers Creepers 2.
KiiKii, they are going to make films called Alien Vs Predator, what do you think of that?
Not many horror films make me jump in Freddy Vs Jason i jumped twice.

I'm not much of a fan of the newer horror movies, even though I love some of the older ones. You know, Borlis Karlof, Lon Chaney, Vincent Price. Seems like the new new ones have replaced real suspense with mere graphic violence. However, I did like Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and [/iJason X[/i]. Loved the Alien movies except for #3 which truly SUCKED, but those are as much sci-fi as horror. And I liked the Hellraiser movies.
As for Freddy vs. Jason, that one does sound interesting. I vote for Freddy.

| It has looked kinda corny to me too... but i am planing to see it... i am a true horror movies fan...hope ill like this one too coz its been a looong time till the last time i saw a good horror movie...

Oh god peachy,it was terrible.Such a waste. Way too wierd and it was gross not scary.
How did I forget???? Jeepers Creepers is my favorite movie ever!! I can't wait to see the new one!I hope the whole movie isn't set on the bus though.
Feardotcom is good. It's a lot better then The Ring,although that is a pretty good one.Watch Darkness Falls,it's excellent!
Plus the guy in it is sexy!

it had a storyline: murder and sadism. it was a very... odd film, but about what i expected from a movie by Rob Zombie. a bit of trivia for those who have seen it or those who are going to see it, Rob's wife plays 'Baby'... the young female nutso in the movie.
i really want to see Freddy vs Jason in theaters. i am hoping to see it this weekend with John. he never wants to see my chick flicks... think he'd be up for a horror film?
