Looks like two problems: Air in the artery, and a shrinkage of the brain tissue due to age  Not sure what is planned now. I'll talk to my mom tonight..

Poetman, my heart goes out to you.
There's not much any of us can say. But, we'll be here when you need to talk.
I pray that you, your mom and your dad are all blessed with the strength to carry all of this.

| There was some discussion of possibly trying the surgery again (!) but I think~based on what my mom said yesterday, and how he sounded tonight (very much out of breath, not clear or like himself at all, which means probably more fluid in his lungs) we'll probably nix a repeat surgery (what good would it do?), stop chemo and move him over to Hospice At least there he would be free of needles and could get whatever pain med he needs.

| The call came this morning, he's gone I still can't believe it. We leave here Friday night to head for Tucson, we'll be there a week.
