Hi Ladies / Mommies,
Im currently in my second trimester. I was wondering if any ladies here prefer sex much more during pregnancy. i remember during my first pregnancy (abt 8yrs ago) i wanted sex all the time and cant seems to get enough. but for this pregnancy, im alittle less interested in sex.We still enjoy our regular sessions but it felt alittle different.
Btw, some ppl think that having multi-orgasms and rough sex is a big no-no during pregnancy, so wat do u think?
Any thoughts and experiences to share? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Margery. i was told by my gynae that it is perfectly safe to have sex /orgasm during pregnancy, however i was worried that too much orgasms can cause contractions so i try not to have multi-orgasm each time but sometime it happened in my sleep which i have no control over. anyone experienced that too?
Its been so long since my first pregnancy so i guess i forgot some pg symptoms,lol..this time i felt nausea, no appetite and feeling sleepy all the time esp during my first trimester but now my energy are back.
Well, my mom on the other hand thinks that its best to avoid sex during pregnancy while my gfs told me to avoid sex only during the 3rd trimester, wow! i've read many old wives tales and everyone seems to have different advises...oh geez, im alittle confused and i dunno who to listen to.

Sex is absolutely safe during pregnancy unless there is complications that arise that the doctor will suggest against it. Other than that, its very normal and safe to have sex throughout your pregnancy  I know I did! lol
The hormones in your body cause the appetite for it to go up naturally and around the second trimester is when you will notice an increased difference in it. Though every pregnancy is different, so sometimes you might not even feel like having sex, which is also normal, just depends on you.
It's also safe to have sex into your third trimester, so there is no need for alarm unless you experience some discomfort. I would like to point out though, that sex is great to jump start labor after a certain point in the pregnancy, my doctor told me when I hit the 39 week mark to have sex to onset labor. It does in fact work

| Thanks realityfaery, reading ur comment makes me feel alot better.. yeah it's true, some days i really feel that my libido is high at this stage and some other days it's like zero mood,lol..i just dun want to turn away sex completely. my hubby have to be extra gentle on me cos some positions are alittle uncomfortable for me now, as for multi-orgasms, i try not to have them too regular but maybe i'll have more in the 3rd trimester..hehe!

I do enjoy being pregnant like many women outhere and we keep sex FUN, hehe! well, i think my hubby does enjoy 'rocking' the bed now.LOL!!
