For all the women that look at porn wether it be be books, internet, live shows, movies, etc. why do you look at it? Also good you give your age and single or married. We did not want to make it a poll but would like to know how it breaks down.
My wife does not look at, read, or listen to porn but was wondering the diffrent reasons they do. When she was a teenager she us to read some and watch a few movies but has not had the desire since.
We saw some polls recently that it is increasing among women, we are wondering why.

For me, I watched as a teenager with some girl friends. It was something fun to do on a weekend night. At 16 it was our attempt at being rebellious  . Also I knew nothing about sex (except you know, boy meets girl, boy inserts penis) so it taught me a lot. I'm a visual person too so watching it is a big turn on for me. I think it'd be fun to watch with my SO for ideas.

The OP's post specifically pertains to, and inquires from females that do look at porn. Comments such as these, as well as any off topic statements will be deleted.

I do not understand your statement BleedingHart about the post of why is should be deleted. As mention, polls are showing a increase of interest among women in porn. This was being discussed the other day with a friend and are curios for the reasons why. There are many questions on here directed to women only about their sex life (since this what this forum is all about) and some recently about the age of those (men and women) responding. If my questions is in violation of the rules then so are most of the others on this forum.
If this post is in violation then please remove it.

OhYeah! The post I quoted is not yours, and your question is not in violation of the TOU. If it was a violation, the entire thread would have been deleted, and you would have been notified of the reasons behind the decision to remove it, and perhaps have been given a warning.
The post I deleted was done so because you specifically inquired about why women look at porn, not about why they don't. I still quoted this poster to use as an example of what type of comments will be omitted. The same treatment will be given to any males that attempt to post in this thread as per your request.
If you would like a broader range of views to include why women do not look at porn, you are free to edit your initial post, or start a new thread.

I never used to look at, read, ect porn when I was a teen, but now that I'm older and more experienced, I look at it mainly because I don't have a guy of my own right now but also because it provides that extra fantasy of helping you enjoy yourself. I have watched some clips on the internet, but more recently have started to read erotic stories. There might be serveral reasons why porn is increasing for women, but as a single gal I can say for myself its because I don't have a guy right now.

I'm addicted I think lol! I look at it everyday, more than once per day at times; even while I was in a longterm relationship of 5yrs.
Why I look at it? I'm highly sexual and need my daily fix hehe, but seriously, I have felt the need to do it daily since I was about 17. I'm now 29 and single so I need it now more than ever lol!
Funny, but I watch porn more than any of my ex partners.

I don't watch it often, but I have with my SO before to have a little fun and discuss. Of course this leads to our own fun. I have never WATCHED porn alone.
I'm not a visual person, so the little "porn-zines" are my favorite. Every woman is probably different, but if I'm reading it, I was pretty bored... although I do enjoy them and get into the stories for quite some time.
