Hello
Just wondering if a visa is necessary in the following scenario:

A mexican visits England, but has a stop-over in the USA first.

??
I know it's very hard for Mexican's to get american Visas but i'm wondering if it's just a stop-over do they still need one?

Thanks

Yes, the mexican citizen will need a transit visa to take a connecting flight in the U.S.

In general, it is difficult to get a visa if you don't meet the requirements for the visa that you are applying for.

I suggest you check the U.S. Embassy website in Mexico, you will find all the information regarding transit visas, how to schedule an appointment and which documents the applicant needs to bring for the interview.

Ok, I do Love him with all my heart and yes I want to get married as soon as we can but will he ever beable to come for a visit even after we are married? My Love is Romanian and I'm from the US. All I want is to be with him for the rest of our lives. Thank god I dont have to get a visa, well not for 3 months and we are going to get married before that. I really Love him with all my heart.

Yes, he will be able to immigrate to the U.S. using the right type of visa after you get married.

Sorry to hear about the visa denial For some people it is very difficult to get a tourist visa. Every applicant must meet the requirements the U.S. Embassy has established, and some people have a hard time proving ties and financial estability in their home country.

Many who get denied to receive a tourist visa have no problems at all when they apply for a fiance visa (before getting married) or spousal visa (after getting married). So don't worry! Once you apply for the right type of visa, the chances of getting denied for that visa are not as high, that is... if you meet all the requirements for the visa you will be applying for.

I suggest you go to www.visajourney.com and check out the information for K-3 Visas or CR1, so you are well informed of the process you will need to follow after you guys get married, so your future husband is able to immigrate to the U.S. using the appropriate type of visa in the future.

I have never had to deal with internation travel, but you need a VISA just to vacation? What happened to only needing a passport?

Nationals from certain countries need a Visa to be able to visit the U.S.

A passport is a document issued to you by your own government for I.D. purposes when traveling. A visa is a permission from the country you are visiting that is granted when you meet the requirements for the specific visa your applying for (whether is a tourist, student, spousal, job, etc.).

Visas and passports are two different things and serve two different purposes.

I'm going to go to Romania in just a couple of weeks, I don't have to have a Visa just to go and I can stay up to 3 months. I'm still a little worried, Just scared something is going to go wrong and we are going to have to keep waiting. I'm praying to God that everything goes smooth.
