Hello All:
First time here and first time posting as well. I have this idea that I need advice on from as many people as possible so I thought this would be my best bet.
My wife and I have been married for 18yrs now and I have been thinking about our 20th wedding anniversary and what I would do to make it special. I know it's still 2 yrs away but for what I want to do, I would like to start planning it now.
I would like to create an interactive driving tour of the past 20 years of our marriage that we have been together. What I mean by that is, I would like to pick out about a handfull of spots with good memories to them and drive her to each one. Once we go to these locations I would tell a little story about what I was feeling that day and what I remember most about it.
Also at these locations, I would try to re-create the people who were originally there when it all happened to share in each location.
At the end of the day, I would either have everyone we came in contact with for a party at one location or just go our own ways and take her to the beach and re-commit our vows.
Now, I know every woman is different and I am pretty sure that there is no one right answer to this but, I do need to get an answer of some sort by knowing that this is not "Cheesy" or a bad idea.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice on this,
Paul

Girls usually dig cheesy, why do you think we're all soo attracted to those chick flicks? I quite like this idea, but as for recreating the people you met on the way, that could really be alot of work... and may not work out
Also, I like the idea of driving her to your most memorable areas, but is she the kind of girl that likes travel? or is she a laid back couch girl? Maybe you could get an artist or illustrator and describe each moment to them, and have them transfer these special memories into a cute little comic book designed just for her? and gift this to her after a nice dinner? This would be something she could look back on and would make her smile. You could also include some photos in it.
Being a girl, I like these kind of memory books, but it just adds that extra bit of special when it is hand drawn and the moment is recreated using colors and texture by a good comic artist, you can help the artist really 'capture' the moment by describing just how you felt?
What do you think?

| I love the idea of taking her round to places with memories but trying to bring back all the people may be alot of work and may be unrealistic. After taking her round why don't you think of ending up in å quite place just the two of you and enjoy å lovely alone time with each other over å candle light dinner or so...
