I think this might have happened to me. It is a sick feeling I have and now I have to just carry on .
Has this happened to anyone else and how do you recover when after all that time you thought someone was your best friend and you might meet them some day.. then they stop SUDDENly when you tell them you are trying to be Christian cuz it is what you must do..
and You still love them and want to talk ...
and then looking back I see how he steered this me to this kind of cyber stuff all along... Me being led down the garden path.
I believed his words.

anyway, how did you all deal with the realizatoin that you were being exploited?

why cant you be christian and have fun?
Being exploited is NOT okay, but why suddenly have a 'christian change of heart'? Do you steal, murder, or lie? If not, then you are an okay person.
Enjoy life, and it's pleasures. Just be careful what you post online unless you really trust someone.

If he posted videos of you on the internet, without your permission than yes-I would be VERY angry at him.
However, it has Nothing to do with Christianity. It has Everything to do with him being at the core a rotten person who cares more about himself and next to nothing about You.
How to deal with it? Cut him out of your life. Block, delete, ignore on any and all channels-and that includes not peeking at his FB page. Filter him out of your visibility range there too.

Do you have legitimate reasons to believe he did this? or it's just your imagination getting wild?
No one forced you to undress in front of the camera. He was miles away. You could have said no, but at the time you said yes so....just own your actions. You are a 49 y/o woman, you know better then to accuse other people for your own actions.

49? Seriously? I thought we were dealing with someone in their early 20's or late teens!
Recommendations stay the same though and Gail is right. It's not fair to blame him when you could have simply said "No thank you" and turned off the cam.

So have you seen the films of yourself- what makes you think he took a film of you?
I am assuming you had sex (though don't know how cyber sex works-)
However, each to their own but do be careful as anything you say or do or when you allow someone else to see you on camera can potentially be used to exploit.You can get a court order to have them removed and to sue him. I would see a lawyer to see what your rights are when you have online sex- is it his property then or public? is his stuff your property?
And lastly, I would start praying.lol
