So I love my boyfriend very much and I tell him I love him all the time. Do guys really like to hear I Love You? I always say things to him that make him know I love him and how much I care. Yeah and I like to stroke his ego because I know he really likes when I do that. What other type of things do men like to hear from there women and even not like to hear?

I like a compliment as much as anyone.
In a realtionship; it is not what I hear, or how often, as much as knowing it is sincere.
The phrase "stroking my ego" is a turn off. It sounds insincere and hollow.
Yeah maybe that wasnt the right term to use but he has told me before he likes for me to compliment him and he knows I am 100% sincere when I say it. We are in a LDR till next month so its not as easy to show him when he is 1000 + miles away. It might sound insincere or hollow but I love it when he "strokes my ego" and I will be the first to say so.
But it is true that when one hears something too frequently it starts to loose meaning.
I personally find more meaning in tiny gestures. Like grabbing my hand during a long drive, or a small caress on my head as she walks by. You can demonstrate a lot of love in simple actions.
