I have to laugh at your post Trish because I think in my relationship, it was just the opposite!
I don't remember exactly what the first meal, but I remember very early on in the relationship, he made me a seafood pasta dish that was sooo good. And he made me a breakfast omelette that was really good too. It was the first time a guy had cooked real meals for me!
And then I have no idea what I cooked for him first but I can pretty much guarantee it came out of a box or a bag....

Hmmm...
A Breakfast in bed meal...
Salvadorean typical food...
Eggs, refried beans, cheese, fried platain, coffee, baked goods...
He LOVED IT!!!!!

I made one of my favorite recipes my Mom always makes for my SO. King Ranch Chicken. I actually only made it once for him lol. He enjoyed it, but I am so much better at only 1 or 2 ingredients, but that entails a lot of things from scratch (yeah I'm lazy ha ha)
Other than that, he does most of the cooking, but I'm actually pretty good at blackend pork chops with some au gratin potatoes... yum yum
We are "meat and taters" folks all the way!!
