Thats great that he will be home soon.  Um... I think that I would plan a day for him. Like maybe take him to his fav restaurant, or cook for him. I want to make my bf a scrap box/book for when he comes back. Since he is just starting, its going to be a while, but I want for him to be able take it with him if possible so he can have it with him while we're apart.
What kind of things does your guy like?

| Ummm he comes home in 115 days!!!! But I got red white and blue welcome home balloons and rose petals and candles and booked the hotel!!! I'm just making it all about him. It's great that your guy is coming home soooo soon!! He'll just want to be with you.

My guy has always been a sports nut and absolutely loves nascar. I got him tickets for the Daytona 500. Ever since I met him he has always wanted to go to that race, and he also wanted to go to the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which is a one in a life time opportunity. I booked him and I a trip down to Florida to spend a few days down there. He thinks we're just going to go to Disney World, but I'm going to surprise him with the tickets. Also, it will give us some nice time just to be alone and away from everything....... After everything that he has done for his country, he deserves all of it.
Maybe if your guy is also a big sports fan you can buy him tickets to go see a big game?
Or maybe to see a concert?

| Well we had our first night alone in a motel, so i had it all decorated with candles and rose petals and then had a little basket filled with "love'' things....he loved it....And then I had a welcome home banner at the house and red, white and blue bows and balloons at the house....As for gifts I got him some new clothes, a hat, a new jacket just some new clothes since he'd been gone for a year. I hope you think of something special!!!

| I was just gonna post that same question. My guy "should" be coming home around the same time but i just got an email from him that his mom wants to fly out here from jamaica when he returns and there are so many other ppl that want to be here when he come back that i think i just might give him time with them and when they all leave i just might have some time alone with him. Any ideas on how i can get that time alone with him when everyone wants a piece of him?

Ian is coming home early June... Holy balls. Anyways... Slutty lingerie is always a turn on if your into that... cute/sexy whatever. I don't have much planned... cuz well... I know we won't be leaving the motel much.  Maybe food . I think I'm a gift, lol. Sorry... um... otherwise I made a scrapbook of everything that's gone on while he's gone. Craps been hard... but I got through it etc.

My welcome home gift is....ME!!! lol  No Im waiting till hubbie comes home before arranging anything, from our last conversation he just wants to be home with me chilling out....no fuss or bother!
I will fuss over him though....wine, dinner the usual stuff and Ive already ordered him a present but that wont arrive till the end of May.

| Well since my hubby and i have 3 boys it's tough to get that alone time. So instead the kids and i got white posterboard and painted "WELCOME HOME DADDY" in big bold letters. We also added our hand prints (each set a diffrent color) and taped the poster to our screen door. The day he was to come home we made his favortie cookies and bought his fav ice cream and had our own family party. He loved it. it was his first time away from home for so long and he wanted the boys there. That evening after they went to bed we had our own party with candles, insence and new satin sheets i had bought. he definatly liked it. The only thing he wanted that i hadn't planned on was taking his bike for a ride the next day, oh well.

Jillian, you and I have the same amount of days left till homecoming!
This is a good question!! I've been wondering the same thing since this will be our first homecoming. Family is gonna be here to welcome him home as well, so alone time will be hard, plus we have a one year old making alone time even harder....

| ok so my boyfriend is in hawaii has been for a yr or so and i want to do something cheap and sexy for him when he comes home but i dunno what to do i mean we are getting a cabin but another couple is comin with us is there anything i can do even though they are gonna be there?

My Sweety just came home. I had the whole house covered in balloons & since I am pregnant I made handmade notes from the twins to their Daddy welcoming him home and I had a huge banner hanging acrossed the front door with red, white & blue balloons with red & white carnations attached to the door so he could see it as soon as we pulled up to our house.
After he got freshend up and dropped his things off we went out to dinner at his choice of resturants and then we went for a carriage ride around Washington, D.C.~We spent the night at a hotel and I had the entire room covered in white candles, pink & red rose petals and flowers and the hotel had all the candles lite for us when we returned from dinner and our carriage ride~it was perfect~I had a teddy bear holding a heart shaped box and in the box I had a bunch of little love notes and different love quotes.
I made him a photo album of pictures of him and I together and a scrapbook of all the emails and IM messages him and I shared while he was overseas & I also printed out all the ecards and myspace comments that I sent him and that he sent me too. I also got him a bunch of new clothes, winter necessites since he didn't have any not even a coat. I also got our house together and ready for him to come home. I moved from Iowa to Maryland where is stationed.
I also bought him a new puppy he has always wanted an Alaskan Husky~J.C. (the puppies name) gets to come live with us so very soon !
