Okay, so, I'm looking for advice from people who've been there.
My boyfriend is the first man I've had who isn't put off on the days I have my period, and it doesn't bother me as I want him all the time anyways. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that the mess simply goes away and I don't want to stain sheets/counters/beds/couches... you get the idea.
How have you guys dealt with this? Is putting a towel down enough? Do you just stick to shower sex? We were intimate in the shower when I had my period and that worked out perfectly fine, I just feel like it's a little limiting if that's the only place we can be together when I'm on my period. It was frustrating, not being able to have him whenever and wherever I want!
So... thoughts?

| A standard towel MIGHT not be enough. May need to double it over, or add a second towel if your flow is heavy. We had that problem just a couple of weeks ago, when it went through one towel and into the mattress slip-cover.

Don't do it too often, when abused it will unbalance your ph, but once in a while it's not a problem.
