The Beastly is one of those movies that I think will go in the files with some of the other great ones - my favorite the notebook. Yes, I know that sounds like a long shot but, the story and the line he says about the elephants just ripped a tear out of my heart. "Can you imagine a love like that?"
He has an interest in this girl and takes her to the zoo where his Dad brings him one day after a long day of shopping for whatever his heart desired. Then dumps on him that his Mother has left them. He tells the girl that he has never brought anyone there and showed them this movie in which he shows her a mother elephant with her baby elephant. Somehow the baby elephant dies and the mother elephant is sad and eventually leaves the area. Time passes by but the Mother elephant eventually comes back and searches to find the baby elephant's bones and when she does she hugs them. As he tells the story to the girl he loves he looks over to her and says, "Can you imagine a love like that?" OMG! If you seen it, please share, I'd love to hear your thoughts. If not, go and see it! At fair_is_fair - The movie in general that was "cute" and the elephant story was just the icing on the cake. At first I didn't want to watch it because it looked like it was going to be one of those scientific flicks - but, it turned out bewitching somewhat and the cute story lines is what made it charming. Hope you watch it.
